Highlander Studios CEO Designs and Showcases Giant LED Wall Art

Renowned Southern California set and lighting designer, Russell Pyle, is showcasing a giant, 8-screen LED Video Wall for LKQ Corporation’s headquarters, in Antioch, Tennessee. The 22-foot-wide by 12-foot-high art piece blazes with fast moving visuals and special effects that have transformed the company’s lobby into a dazzling visual experience for visitors and staff alike.

“I wanted to celebrate the mission and culture of this remarkable company,” said Pyle, who is also CEO of Legacy Media Lab, Inc. (now Highlander Studios), an award-winning media production company in Nashville. “So, I designed 8 distinct giant LED screens, laid out strategically on the lobby wall. Then, together with my team, we created a 60-second branding video with stunning visuals and effects that blaze on the individual screens simultaneously.”

LKQ Corporation is a global auto parts company and North America’s largest provider of recycled collision parts, as well as manufactured and alternative auto parts. Its leadership team tapped Legacy Media Lab, Inc. to create an original digital mural to showcase in their new headquarters building.

Pyle’s distinguished career includes the design of lights and/or sets for over 350 theatrical productions and special events from Los Angeles to New York, as well as in Singapore, Turkey and Japan. With training in mathematics and physics, his daring creations merge science and art- a synergy that has become his trademark.

Notable productions include “Our Lady Queen of the Angels, a Salute to the Los Angeles Bicentennial,” as well as commissioned works for theme parks, opera, dance, fashion, museums, television, and films.

In addition, Pyle is the recipient of 8 California Dramalogue Awards for Theatre Directing, as well as Set and Lighting Design. He is listed in “Who’s Who in American Theater” and “Who’s Who in California.”

In fall of 2020, Pyle moved his production company to Nashville, and, together with his partner, Marion MacKenzie, he is actively producing a variety of multi-media projects for local, national and international clients.
